May is a month of depth and intentionality for our firm, a time to honor the histories and contributions of communities, invest in the wellbeing of our people, and strengthen our ties beyond our offices. This year, May brought an especially meaningful lineup of cultural, wellness, and community-focused programming that reflected the richness of who we are and what we stand for.

Honoring AANHPI Heritage Month

In recognition of Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) Heritage Month, CrossCountry’s Network of Asian Professionals and Allies (NAPA) Community Resource Group (CRG) hosted cultural lunches across our offices, bringing employees together to share food, stories, and connection. The celebrations extended beyond the table with an origami demonstration that wove together the historical roots of the art form and a broader exploration of AANHPI culture and heritage. The session created a moment of shared learning and appreciation, a reminder that understanding one another’s histories is one of the most meaningful ways we build belonging.

Women’s Confidence and Self-Defense Workshop

Our International Network of Women (INOW) CRG hosted a women’s confidence and self-defense workshop open to women and male allies alike. More than a practical skills session, the workshop was an investment in personal empowerment, encouraging participants to show up with confidence in every space. The inclusion of male allies reflected our shared commitment to creating environments where safety and confidence are everyone’s responsibility.

Men’s Mental Health Panel

In recognition of Men’s Mental Health Awareness Month, we hosted a firmwide virtual panel focused on men’s mental health. The conversation created rare and important space for honest dialogue on a topic that often goes unaddressed, encouraging employees across the firm to reflect on wellbeing, vulnerability, and the value of seeking support. Events like this reinforce that a strong culture is one where every person feels seen and where authentic conversations are not just welcomed but actively created.

These events throughout the month of May reflect a workplace where people want to show up, not just for work, but for one another. When we celebrate our differences, support each other’s wellbeing, and turn toward our communities with purpose, we strengthen the culture that makes everything else possible.
