Bringing more than 35 years of experience, including 24 years as a partner at Ernst & Young (EY), Tim has a well-established reputation for advising companies across a wide range of industries. His leadership includes serving as the Office Managing Partner at EY, where he collaborated with corporate teams, C-Suite executives, and audit committees. Tim’s expertise spans accounting and auditing, mergers and acquisitions, SOX compliance, SEC filings, and corporate governance. Throughout his career, he has worked with both disruptive technology clients and mature multinational organizations, guiding them through complex challenges such as IPOs, mergers and acquisitions and other financings, while always prioritizing mentorship and team development.
Tim holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of California, Santa Barbara. A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in both Washington and California.
Paul Hammes provides strategic guidance to CrossCountry Consulting, drawing on his extensive experience to enhance the firm’s Divestitures and Transaction Advisory services offerings on a national level. His leadership is vital in identifying market trends and opportunities and expanding its presence in the Chicago market.
During his tenure spanning close to three decades at EY, Paul founded the Divestiture Advisory Services business, which has grown into a multi-billion-dollar service offering. As a former Global Leader for the Transactions Diligence & Divestiture Advisory Services Businesses and as the Americas DAS Leader, Paul led numerous significant transactions for major corporations, including Fortune 100 and 500 companies such as Cardinal Health and Medtronic. His insights have been featured in major media outlets such as The Wall Street Journal and CNBC, underscoring his influence and expertise in the field.
Beyond his professional achievements, Paul is deeply involved in community and educational initiatives. He serves on the Board and Development Committee for Girls on the Run, Chicago, and is a trustee at the Park Ridge Presbyterian Church. Additionally, Paul supports the academic community as a member of the Dean’s Accounting Advisory Council at Michigan Technological University.

Considered a financial expert under existing Sarbanes-Oxley rules, as well as an expert in auditing and accounting, Skip is a foremost advisor to the full spectrum of dynamic, fast-growing, and groundbreaking companies around the country. He spent the last 28 years of his career as Partner with Grant Thornton, Deloitte, and Arthur Andersen, holding leadership roles in the technology and life sciences industry sectors and serving emerging growth and private equity-backed companies. Skip has led and managed teams that have helped a dozen companies complete IPOs and has been responsible for hundreds of registration statements and public filings – always guiding clients to manage risk and ensure minimal regulatory comments.
Skip has developed expertise in governance throughout his career in public accounting. He has served on the Board of Directors and has chaired the finance/audit committee for TechUnited (formerly the New Jersey Technology Counsel), New Jersey Entrepreneurial Network, and the Princeton Family YMCA. He received his BS in Accounting from Rider University.

Previously, as a senior partner and business leader in EY’s Bay Area technology practice, Kevin offered unparalleled expertise in finance and governance that catalyzes growth and value creation. Considered a financial expert under SEC, NYSE, and NASDAQ rules, he regularly focuses on successfully navigating the most critical issues facing high-growth organizations.
Kevin is passionate about education and serving at-risk youth. Previously, he served as Board Chair, Head of Finance Committee and Member of the Board of Directors for Lincoln Family Services and Trustee and Audit Committee Chair at Albion College. He is a licensed CPA in California and Michigan.
With more than 30 years of experience in business transformation, cost and risk management, and large program management, Robert Hills provides strategic guidance to CrossCountry and the leadership team pertaining to client solutions and capabilities, national market trends, expansion in key growth markets, and identifying current and future needs in the business transformation, supply chain, procurement, and supply risk space.
Robert spent over 23 years at Deloitte, retiring as Partner in 2023. He currently serves as the CEO of Hills Advisory Services – U.S. Inc where he continues to be a trusted advisor for clients. Although Robert has worked across a number of industries, much of his focus recently has been in the aviation, aerospace and defense, and related industries. His supply chain risk focus has included systems implementation, technical operations, supply management, planning, logistics, and distribution management. Earlier in his career, Robert was a mechanical design engineer at Honeywell, and a consultant at both AT Kearney and JSA International.
Robert received his B.S. Engineering and his MBA in International Business.

Having held a number of senior leadership roles at Ernst & Young (EY), Mike catalyzed the success of companies spanning emerging, IPO-bound, high growth start-ups to global, multi-billion-dollar organizations across various sectors. He also founded and led several of EY’s regional growth market businesses with strategy, operations, P&L, and talent management responsibility.
Mike currently serves as Advisory Board Chair for BUILD, a not-for-profit with the mission of igniting the power of youth in under-resourced communities to build career success, entrepreneurial mindsets, and opportunity. He graduated Suma Cum Laude with a BS in Accounting from St. John’s University and received his MBA in Management from the NYU Stern School of Business. He is a registered CPA in New York, New Jersey, and California, and completed the Executive Education Corporate Governance Program from Columbia Business School.

As a Qualified Financial Expert, Tim brings a unique mix of skills and industry experience. His previous experience as a senior leader at KPMG LLP included running both a global multi-billion-dollar business and the heavily focused technology business in Silicon Valley. Throughout his career, his deepest industry experiences reside in health and life sciences as the Global Lead Audit Partner on some of KPMG’s largest and most challenging clients and IPO candidates.
Tim was the past Chairman and Audit Committee Chair at Sanaby Health. He currently holds advisory positions for companies across a variety of industries. He received his BBA with a concentration in Accountancy from the University of Notre Dame.
Bob is a proven industry leader with over 40 years of experience with more than 30 years as a partner at KPMG. He is a financial expert and CPA with global leadership experience in providing financial institutions and others a broad array of insights relating to audit, accounting and regulatory issues, board governance matters, information technology and cyber risks, finance and operations and enterprise risk management.
Bob had numerous leadership roles at KPMG in his career. Since 2014, he was KPMG’s Global Partner in Charge of IT Business Services and was an Audit Committee Institute leader from 2002-2016 where he helped clients deal with emerging challenges and issues facing boards of public and private companies. From 2009 to 2014, Bob acted as the Advisory Business Unit Partner in Charge for KPMG’s Mid-Atlantic Region, responsible for all operations of the Firm’s largest advisory business unit. Prior to that, he was the Global partner in charge of Sarbanes Oxley 404 Services (2001-2007).
Bob is currently a member of a leading Governance Advisory Board – the Weinberg Center at the University of Delaware. He is also a current or past member of the board of directors at Junior Achievement, National Museum of American Jewish History, Voyage House and JRA.

Bob joined Citi in October 2006 as the Head of Resource & Location Strategy. He undertook various roles, including the Head of the Resource Management Organization (RMO) which includes, R&LS, Sourcing, Procurement, Third-Party Management and Citi’s Captive Solution Network. Prior to Citi, Bob was the head of Resource & Location Strategy and Sourcing and Procurement for JP Morgan and CTO of BellAtlantic.

A retired partner from KPMG U.S., John previously served as Vice Chair for Clients and Markets where he oversaw client relationship development in their largest markets and industry sectors, as well as the National Managing Partner for Market Development, National Sector Leader for Energy, National Resources and Chemicals, and the Head of Power and Utilities for the Americas. He served as lead partner for many of KPMG’s clients in the energy industry and led advisory engagements in areas including strategy, M&A, organizational design, business process improvement, management reporting, and risk management and compliance.
John received his MS with honors in Accounting from Illinois State University.
A senior executive with four decades of experience guiding companies through their growth journey, Debra provides strategic guidance to CrossCountry and the leadership team pertaining to market trends, attracting and retaining talent, expanding its presence in the Southwest market, and growing their solutions and capabilities.
Previously, Debra served as lead EY partner for clients who received advisory, transaction, and tax services. She has a wide breadth of expertise with global public and private companies in the technology and consumer products industries, and has extensive experience in providing global business leadership, strategic tax and transaction planning, and capital market and private equity services. She led numerous capital market transactions, working with global private equity funds on privatization transactions, investments, and IPO/exit readiness activities.
Debra is a graduate of the University of North Texas with a BBA in Finance and Accounting and completed the Northwestern University Kellogg School of Management Executive Program and the Harvard Business School Strategic Leadership Program through EY. She is a Certified Public Accountant and qualified to serve as a financial expert under SEC and NYSE/NASDAQ listing rules. Debra serves on a variety of Boards including Canoo, Inc., Vari/VARIDESK; National Association of Corporate Directors North Texas Chapter; and United Way of Metropolitan Dallas Foundation.
Risk leader Nick Silitch provides strategic guidance to CrossCountry in areas such as client solutions and capabilities, market trends, expansion in key growth markets, and helps the firm identify current and future needs in the risk management space.
Nick has more than four decades of industry experience, playing an active role in shaping regulatory dialogue to create economically consistent outcomes. As the former Chief Risk Officer for Prudential Financial, Inc., he brings significant expertise in defining risk management agendas, developing risk management infrastructure, and determining risk appetite for firms. Prior to Prudential, Nick spent nearly 30 years with the Bank of New York Mellon, gaining market perspectives and insights into credit cycles and portfolio management, the dangers of leverage, and the benefits of evaluating long-term drivers in analytics.
Nick currently serves as Advisory Council Member of the International Association of Credit Portfolio Managers (IACPM) and as a Board Trustee for The Mayhew Program. A sought-after speaker and author on current industry topics and trends, he has served as Practitioner in Residence at Georgetown University’s Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service and is an Adjunct Professor at Colby College focusing on liberal arts and financial markets.

Pat brings with him more than four decades of industry experience, spending the majority of his career at KPMG, most recently as Managing Partner of the Chicago Office and Lead Director of the KPMG Board of Directors. He is uniquely positioned to help build relationships between KPMG partners and CrossCountry professionals. His extensive relationships with Chicago-based private equity firms will be invaluable as CrossCountry prioritizes private equity as a key avenue to fuel its growth in the greater Chicago area.
Pat is currently a member of the Board of Advisors at Collette, a company focused on providing unique and impactful travel experiences, as well as a member of the Global Advisory Council at the Impact Ireland Fund. He has served as a Board Member and Past Chair of the United Way of Metro Chicago, as well as a Board Member and Past Chair for Kids First Chicago. He received his bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Providence College.
With more than 40 years’ experience in the advisory industry, financial expert Jim Logothetis provides objective insight for CrossCountry to aid overall strategic direction and decisions, support the evaluation of market opportunities, and provide operating and management advice.
Having held a number of senior leadership roles at Ernst & Young (EY), Jim has extensive knowledge of SEC financial reporting rules and regulations, familiarity with corporate financial staff organization and development, as well as comprehensive experience with merger and acquisition integrations. A proven industry leader, Jim provides guidance related to audit, accounting, regulatory issues, board governance matters, and enterprise risk management.
Before retiring from EY in 2019, Jim held the position of Lead Partner to some of the firm’s largest global clients – public and private. Jim has considerable boardroom experience that includes more than 500 audit committee and board meetings. He holds an M.B.A. in Accounting, Finance and International Business from The University of Chicago Booth Graduate School of Business and a B.S. in Accountancy from De Paul University. He is both a Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Management Accountant.
With more than 38 years of experience providing auditing services to leaders in a wide variety of industries including manufacturing, energy, technology, and hospitality, Tom Milbury has extensive business and financial strategy development experience including mergers and acquisitions, corporate financing, and risk management. With extensive experience serving large, global organizations with complicated accounting challenges, he supports CrossCountry’s management team with strategic perspectives on how to continue the firm’s growth in accounting, risk, and transformational capabilities.
Throughout his career in public accounting, Tom built strong relationships with the management teams and board constituencies of his clients who valued his advice on technical accounting and business issues, SEC filing requirements, and the internal control requirements of Rule 404 of Sarbanes Oxley. Previously, he served as Senior Partner with Deloitte and Partner at Arthur Andersen LLP. He currently serves as Chairman of the Audit Committee and Vice Chair of the Board of New England Center and Home for Veterans.

With more than 25 years’ experience in the financial industry, veteran risk management executive Philippa Girling provides CrossCountry’s management team with strategic guidance and technical expertise in risk management, with additional focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I) and Environmental, Social, and Corporate Governance (ESG) objectives.
Philippa has held senior risk management leadership positions at Investors Bank, Capital One, Morgan Stanley, and Nomura. Most recently, she served as Chief Risk Officer at Varo Bank N.A. during its establishment as the first fintech to obtain a national bank charter, before transitioning to Chief Impact Officer where she was responsible for the strategic design, execution, and measurement of the social and environmental impact of the company, including developing the ESG strategy; setting goals and measures for how to execute the strategy; and providing leadership and direction for the diversity and inclusion commitments and activities.
Philippa recently became Chair and CEO of Camp Chateau, a Netherlands based company focused on establishing and promoting equitable spaces and experiences for women. She has authored multiple textbooks on operational risk and is a regular lecturer on operational and enterprise risk management and has led classes at Wharton, UC Claremont, Columbia University, NYU Stern, and Baruch College.
George is an accounting expert with nearly 40 years of experience, bringing deep knowledge and relationships within the Boston and New England market. He is a CPA with extensive experience in accounting, SEC and financial reporting matters. His industry experience includes all areas of technology along with consumer products, retail, manufacturing, service and distribution.
George was the Managing Partner of EY’s Boston office as well as the New England market segment leader from 2012-17. He led double-digit market growth/revenues during all five years and was not only responsible for nearly 2,000 people, but also for the revenue goals for all service lines in the area. From 2002-12, he was a Senior Assurance Partner for EY, including leading the New England assurance practice. While in these roles, he helped a wide variety of companies in different industries, including on IPO and M&A transactions. Prior to that, George was an Assurance Partner at Arthur Andersen serving emerging and growth-oriented companies in all commercial sectors in the New England market from 1978-2002. George is currently a Senior Advisor to Avalt, a Boston-based private equity focused family office, and is a member of the board along with being the audit committee chair of EverQuote (Nasdaq-EVER). He is also the Chairman of the Board of Mass Mentoring Partnership and past chair of the Massachusetts Society of CPA’s. In addition, he serves as a Trustee for the Yawkey Foundation II and on the Board of the United Way of Massachusetts Bay, BELL and the Wonderfund.
