Corporate Transactions Lead
Kati leads our Corporate Transactions practice with over 25 years of advisory and accounting experience working with private and public companies through mergers and acquisitions, divestitures including spin-offs, and initial public offerings. Her experience is vast including technical accounting and financial reporting, risks and internal controls, and operational readiness. Her clients range from emerging growth companies to Fortune 100 public companies. She works with executive management and boards providing strategies and transactional guidance regarding transformational initiatives.
Prior to joining CrossCountry, Kati was an assurance partner at Ernst & Young and was a member of Ernst & Young’s Global Real Estate, Hospitality & Construction sector team. She spent over 20 years in the Big Four executing financial statement audits and audits of internal controls over financial reporting; leading technical accounting matters and implementation of new accounting standards; and SEC and other regulatory compliance requirements.
She has served as a Board Director and Audit Committee Chair of a public company (NYSE) and additionally serves on several non-profit organizations. Kati is as an advisor and adjunct professor at the Catholic University of America School of Business. She received her BA and Master’s in Accounting from the Catholic University of America and is a Certified Public Accountant.
