Joey is a Partner in CrossCountry Consulting’s Private Equity practice. With 20 years of finance, accounting, and due diligence experience, Joey serves as a strategic advisor to private equity, venture capital, and corporate clients navigating complex transactions. He specializes in providing comprehensive financial and accounting due diligence support across a wide range of industries, including industrial manufacturing, services, and technology. Joey is dedicated to empowering the Office of the CFO by delivering the insights needed to drive growth and mitigate risk during critical M&A activities.
Joey’s expertise encompasses buy-side and sell-side quality of earnings analyses, standalone analysis for carve-out transactions, net working capital assessments, and purchase agreement negotiations. Prior to CrossCountry, he was a Partner at Corporate Diligence Specialists (CDS) for 10 years. Previously, Joey was an equity research associate at Wells Fargo Securities, where he provided sell-side coverage of the homebuilding and building products industries, and served as a financial analyst at Houlihan Lokey, focusing on due diligence services and fairness opinions. He began his career in the audit practice of Deloitte & Touche.
Joey is a CFA Charter holder. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics and Economics from Swarthmore College and a Master of Accounting from the University of Southern California.
