Jason Dunn
Private Equity
Based in San Francisco, Jason is a Partner in the Private Equity practice, where he supports the national Financial Due Diligence (FDD) team. He specializes in advising private equity sponsors and strategic buyers on complex transactions, empowering the Office of the CFO with the critical insights needed for strategic decision-making. Jason has extensive experience in both buy-side and sell-side diligence, with a particular focus on corporate carve-outs, platform acquisitions, mergers, and rollup strategies.
Jason’s expertise covers a wide range of diligence areas, including quality of earnings analysis, net working capital assessment, and transaction structuring. He has guided clients through deals worldwide, from middle-market businesses to multi-billion-dollar acquisitions across North America, Europe, South America, and Australia. Prior to CrossCountry, Jason spent over a decade at Corporate Diligence Specialists (CDS), working his way up from Senior Associate to Partner. Previously, he worked in the Assurance practice at PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he served investment management and private equity firms.
Jason earned his Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of California, Los Angeles, and is also an alumnus of the John Felice Rome Center in Rome, Italy.
