Private Equity, Financial Due Diligence Co-Lead
Brian serves as the Financial Due Diligence Co-Lead in the Private Equity practice at CrossCountry Consulting. Based in San Francisco, he is responsible for the overall strategy, practice development, and delivery of due diligence services to the firm’s private equity, strategic buyer, and other M&A clients. With over 30 years of extensive experience in due diligence, finance, and accounting, Brian acts as a trusted advisor on complex transactions within the manufacturing, technology, and service sectors. His expertise encompasses buy-side, sell-side and refinancing assignments, where he guides clients through quality of earnings analyses, working capital assessments, standalone cost analyses and critical purchase and sale negotiations for acquisitions, divestitures, and carve-outs of national and global companies.
Prior to joining CrossCountry, Brian co-founded Corporate Diligence Specialists (CDS) where he built a reputation for excellence in financial due diligence. Before establishing CDS, he was a leader in the Transaction Services practice at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Silicon Valley and began his professional career at Coopers & Lybrand in Los Angeles.
Brian holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Economics, with honors, from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
