Brian is a Partner in CrossCountry’s Accounting Advisory practice. Based in Washington, D.C., he focuses on building the firm’s local market presence, partnering with emerging growth entities and publicly listed companies. Additionally, Brian supports the firm’s national Transactions practice, delivering strategic solutions across mergers and acquisitions (M&A), carve-outs, spins, and initial public offerings (IPOs) to empower modern finance executives.
With deep expertise in audit readiness, financial reporting, and complex technical accounting, Brian helps organizations streamline operations, mitigate financial risk, and drive strategic value. Before joining CrossCountry, he served at Grant Thornton Ireland, managing complex financial services audits for long/short hedge funds, investment managers, and special purpose vehicles. He also advanced his assurance expertise at Grant Thornton Canada, where he led audits for publicly listed manufacturing and mining organizations.
Brian holds a Bachelor of Business Studies from the University of Limerick. He is also a distinguished Fellow of Chartered Accountants Ireland (FCA).
