Adel is a Partner in CrossCountry’s Integrated Risk Management practice. With over 20 years of experience in cybersecurity and privacy, Adel serves as a strategic advisor to executive leadership, helping organizations navigate the complex landscape of digital threats and regulatory requirements. Capitalizing on his extensive network across California, he specializes in developing comprehensive cybersecurity and privacy strategies, architecting resilient environments, and overseeing the execution of high-stakes threat-aware initiatives. Adel is dedicated to empowering the Office of the CISO, CIO and key stakeholders by delivering robust security solutions that protect critical assets while enabling business growth and innovation.
Prior to joining CrossCountry, Adel led the Cybersecurity & Privacy and IT Internal Audit practices at CNM LLP, where he was responsible for developing innovative go-to-market strategies and overseeing client strategy and implementation delivery teams. Before that, he served as the Cybersecurity Officer for Film and TV Entertainment at NBC Universal, where he developed information security strategies and led initiatives to improve the business’s security posture and threat prevention capabilities. Adel also led the Global Cyber Security Operations organization at Activision Blizzard, delivering enterprise-wide operations, incident response, and policy frameworks. He began his career at Deloitte, leading information security and privacy implementations for global clients in the manufacturing, healthcare, consumer product, and media sectors.
Adel holds a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Southern California. He is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA).
