As Hatch Lighting rapidly expanded, so did its complex architecture of functional tools. Due to a lack of integration between its ERP and CRM systems, among others, employees often resorted to downloading information from one platform to feed to another. These manual data flows were time-consuming, error-prone, and siphoning resources away from actual value-add activities.
When upgrading to a new phone system, the effort ultimately failed, which left field teams without stable access to the system and customers stuck in the sales lifecycle. After several cycles of poor systems implementation experiences, the company made the commitment to fully migrate to the cloud with NetSuite at its core.
