Tommy Marshall to support CrossCountry’s growth in digital financial services market

December 8, 2020 (McLean, VA) — CrossCountry Consulting, a leading business advisory firm, today announced that it has named noted financial services technology (FinTech) veteran Tommy Marshall to its Board of Advisors, effective immediately. Mr. Marshall brings a deep understanding of the financial services industry and the digital transformation strategies and technologies that leading firms are employing. He will support CrossCountry’s management team with strategic perspectives on how to continue the firm’s growth in financial services and FinTech.

With over 20 years of experience providing consulting services to the world’s top financial institutions, Mr. Marshall has extensive business and operations strategy development experience supporting payments, investment services, retail delivery, and multi-channel, as well as distributed blockchain technology experience in capital markets and payments. His expertise will bolster CrossCountry’s ability to define and transform operating models, automate processes, implement compliance frameworks, improve data governance and quality, implement technology solutions, and meet accounting requirements.

Mr. Marshall is an experienced FinTech leader with a long career in consulting and related roles, working to bring his depth in payments, banking, capital markets, finance and regulation together to improve and grow the global FinTech ecosystem. He currently serves as the Executive Director of the Georgia FinTech Academy – a part of the University System of Georgia. He also serves as the FinTech Executive in Residence at Georgia Tech’s Advanced Technology Development Center (ATDC). Mr. Marshall previously served as the North America FinTech Lead at Accenture and Partner at Capco, a leading global provider of integrated consulting, technology, and transformation services to the financial industry. He holds an MBA in Electronic Commerce, Marketing, and Finance from Vanderbilt University’s Owen Graduate School of Management.
