Steve Strandberg

Director  

Steve is a Director within the Intelligent Automation & Data Analytics practice, where he focuses on helping clients with process optimization and automation projects. He brings over 15 years of experience and a proven record of successfully leading high performing technology teams and solving complex business problems for highly integrated enterprise level financial systems.

Prior to joining CrossCountry, Steve was a Manager at Verizon Communications, where he launched the Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Center of Excellence in three months. In that role, he supported the implementation of over 100 bots within the first year of the RPA Program. Steve also worked at XO Communications for 16 years progressing to Director of Finance Systems, focusing on in all aspects of back office financial operations, and specializing on taxation, billing and invoicing, cash operations, revenue assurance and accounting.  During his time at XO Communications, Steve led an effort to rebuild their revenue accounting & accrual system, enabling the remediation of general ledger reconciliation issues. He also directed the launch of XO’s Enterprise EDI solution, vendor selection, contract negotiation and integration with cloud-based EDI interface.  Steve began his career at Prudential Insurance as a lead financial systems analyst.

Steve received his Bachelor of Science in Finance from College of Staten Island and his MBA in Computer Information Systems from Baruch College.  He also holds multiple certifications including Projex project management, Risk and Change Management and Project Management.
