(McLean, VA) CrossCountry Consulting, a leading financial services advisory firm, is pleased to announce the appointment of Ronan King of Dublin, Ireland as the company’s newest Advisory Board Member. Ronan is a proven industry leader with more than 40 years of experience as an international consultant and senior finance professional in both the private and public sectors.

Mr. King brings with him a distinguished and successful career in the professional services industry that will allow him to advise CrossCountry through its ongoing strategic and market growth.
Mr. King qualified as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG (1975-84) and served more than 18 years as a Senior Partner at BDO Simpson Xavier (1987-05), where he founded and developed the management consulting division, acting for major Irish and international clients. King then acted as Chairman of The Private Security Authority (2008-12), responsible for licensing and regulating the private security industry in Ireland and as Chairman of Ballymun Regeneration (2008-14), the largest urban regeneration project in Europe. In 2011, King also helped to establish Property Industry Ireland, acting as the organization’s first Chief Executive Officer, representing a broad spectrum of operators and advisers in Ireland’s recovering property and construction sectors. King previously served as council member and past president of the 300-year-old Dublin Chamber of Commerce and as Deputy Chair of the Special Olympics 2003 World Summer Games.
King is currently Chairman of Amethyst Investments Limited, an advisory firm specializing in devising financial, talent-based and organizational solutions for progressive firms and public sector entities. King is also Chairman of The Green Way, a public-private joint venture he founded to develop an international cleantech cluster in Ireland, offering test-bed opportunities for innovative new technologies which provide potential solutions to global challenges.
