(McLean, VA) CrossCountry Consulting a leading financial and business improvement advisory firm, is pleased to announce Tom Ayotte has joined the company as a Director in its new Technology Solutions service line. The northern Virginia-based firm provides clients with finance, accounting, risk, operational and technology consulting services.
In his new role, Tom will assist CrossCountry’s expanding client base in evaluating and optimizing their business functions through enhanced technology. Tom’s background will be invaluable to our clients as he brings more than 17 years of experience leading multiple large-scale Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system implementations across both the commercial and public sectors.

Tom’s proven commitment to client collaboration spans nearly all business functions. His career includes progressively challenging IT positions with both ERP and Software-as-a-Service applications. Prior to joining CrossCountry, Tom founded and managed a firm that specialized in deployment and implementation of PeopleSoft applications across a broad range of industries, including financial services, telecommunications, consumer packaged goods and manufacturing.
Before starting his own firm, Tom spent several years with Ernst & Young and Accenture where he held leadership roles in their PeopleSoft practices. He was also Associate Vice President of Corporate Financial Systems for the Carlyle Group where he managed the implementation of several financial systems prior to their initial public offering.
Tom started his career as a member of the Audit Practice at KPMG and the corporate accounting department at Marriott. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from the University of Richmond and is a Certified Public Accountant.
