Scott brings over 15 years of experience developing and delivering customized risk management strategies for organizations from the Fortune 500 to emerging growth companies. He advises clients and executives on how to navigate complex compliance requirements and respond to changing business risks. At CrossCountry, Scott helps lead the Risk practice with deep knowledge and expertise in the areas of internal audit, technology risk, Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, business process improvement and information security.
Scott began his career at KPMG in their Information Risk Management practice in Washington, DC. He served as engagement team lead on numerous finance/accounting, IT audit and risk consulting engagements for several large public companies and Federal Government agencies. In 2005 Scott joined a regional audit and consulting firm specializing in accounting, risk, profitability and strategy solutions. He served as a Principal in the firm’s Risk Management practice providing advisory expertise and project management for clients across a broad range of industries.
Scott earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from James Madison University, with a concentration in Computer Information Systems.
