Bob Bedingfield

Advisory Board Member

Bob is a proven industry leader with more than 40 years of experience with 32 years as a partner at Ernst & Young, including leading the Aerospace and Defense Industry Practice. As one of the firm’s most senior Global Lead Partners, Bob qualifies as an SEC expert and has extensive experience serving Fortune 500 companies, including Lockheed Martin, Gannett, Booz Allen, AES, and Marriott.

Since 2000, Bob served as a Trustee, an Executive Committee Member, and the Audit Committee Chair of the University of Maryland at College Park Board of Trustees. He has also been a Board Member, an Executive Committee Member and the Audit Committee Chair of the University System of Maryland Foundation, which comprises 12 of Maryland’s higher education institutions. From 1995 to 2003, Bob served on the National Executive Board of the Boy Scouts of America and a representative on the National Advisory Council of the Boy Scouts of America since 2003. Prior to that, he was President of the National Capital Area Council of the Boy Scouts of America. In recognition of his service and community dedication to the Boy Scouts, he was selected as the Boy Scout’s 2010 Citizen of the Year. Bob also served on the Board of Governors of Congressional Country Club, as President of the Club and Vice Chairman of the 1997 and 2011 U.S. Opens which Congressional successfully hosted.

Bob received his B.S. degree from the University of Maryland, College Park and is a licensed CPA.
