Alex Bogopolsky is a Principal within the firm’s Accounting Advisory service line, where he provides technical accounting and SEC reporting advice to domestic and multinational companies.
Alex has more than 20 years of direct client-facing Big Four experience in accounting advisory and auditing in a cross-section of industries and various national GAAPs. He is fully proficient in US GAAP and IFRS, having audited US GAAP and IFRS financial statements of various clients, and advised major clients on technical aspects of revenue recognition, lease, business combination, consolidation, and financial instruments accounting, including impact assessment and implementation of new guidance in these accounting areas. In addition, for six years Alex has managed a corporate financial reporting function of a large business conglomerate.
Alex received his MBA in Finance and Accounting from New York University, Stern School of Business. He is also an active CPA and has received the ACCA’s Diploma in International Financial Reporting (DipIFR).
