Client Situation & Challenge

Our client is a hotel property management systems company focused on developing solutions that help hotels raise service levels, drive revenues and reduce costs.

CrossCountry Consulting was engaged to assist in the migration of their accounting system from QuickBooks to Intacct with the goal to better integrate their various systems and business processes.


CrossCountry Consulting utilized our Technology Solutions methodology to implement the cloud-based system, Intacct. Our approach included:

  • Defining the company master data – chart of accounts, entities, locations, departments and other dimensions
  • Configure modules for GL, AP, AR, Order Entry, Cash Management, Contracts and Multi-Entity with appropriate security roles and permissions
  • Migrate historical data from Quickbooks dating back to 2013
  • Integrations to Paychex and 2CP
  • Build financial reports, custom queries and dashboards
  • Provide test scripts and support for UAT in addition to on-site training and go-live support


These changes enabled a more robust, accurate and timely financial reporting process for the client.

Our client now has a financial management system that provides excellent functionality for core finance and accounting functions with integrations to and from various systems to automate the flow of information. Specifically, our team implemented the new contracts module to prepare our client for the new revenue standards (ASC 606) and helped with a key integration between Intacct and 2CP.
